San Francisco’s craziest New Year’s celebration is back and bigger then ever. Expanding to two nights Sea Of Dreams is set to go down on December 30th and the 31st at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Event organizers from Another Planet Entertainment, Anonevents and SunsetSF have crafted a drop heavy line-up that will blast people into the new year with a wall of bass.
Electronic dance music(EDM) dominates the roster, with internationally known Pretty Lights headlining both nights. The Colorado wonder kid has been climbing the music industry with his versatile style of music that incorporates heavily layered hip hop, dubstep, trap and soul. Playing with a live band as well, Pretty Lights is the perfect headliner to bring in the new year. Joining him on day one will be three-piece industrial electronica outfit The Glitch Mob and Break Science.
Day two is when the party really gets going. Experimental trip-hop and electronic producer Flying Lotus will make a rare appearance along with Oakland based dance group, Beats Antique. Not only that but tenacious funk band Lettuce, will also be performing. With additional artists to be announced in the near future you can expect SOD to be the perfect end to 2014 and the perfect start to the new year. Tickets are on sale on October 2nd for both days, so be sure to grab them while you still can.
