Pink Floyd’s final album The Endless River, is shaping up to be one heck of a last hurrah for the band. The first full length track that we can all listen to and marvel at is here. “Louder Than Words” is the only track on the whole entire album that features lead vocals by David Gilmour. The album will be released on November 10th and will be the bands final piece of work.

Here is the track “Louder Than Words”

  1. I really wanted to like it. I’ve loved Pink Floyd since I was a boy and I’ve had the chance to see both them and Roger Waters live. “The Division Bell”, despite what anyone else may say, ranks up there as one of my favorite Floyd albums. But “Louder Than Words”, I just ain’t feeling it. Bad keyboards reminiscent of 80’s/early 90’s soft rock and embarassingly bad lyrics. Surely Rick Wright would not have wanted this to be his Swan Song (listen to his last solo album “Broken China” to see how great he really was).

Maybe it will grow on me. Hopefully the rest of he album will be better.
