Lana Del Rey confirms she has begun work on third album

Popular singer Lana Del Rey has just announced that she has begun work on her third full length album. Del Rey just only released her second album, Ultraviolence in June of this year and has already made plans to tour in support of it in 2015. The confirmation was announced during an interview with “Galore”.

During the interview she discussed her recent film work, “I just wrote two songs for Tim Burton and Harvey Weinestein’s film called Big Eyes and I’m working on a new record.” She went on further by saying, “I’m also always writing small pieces for independent films etc. Dan Heath and Rick Nowels are two of my dearest friends and producers and we are always up to something.” With the promise of new material in the future and an upcoming U.S. tour, Del Rey is set to retake the scene in 2015.

  1. I’m secure enough in my masculinity to admit I’m a huge Lana Del Rey fan and I always look foward to hearing something new from her. She gets a lot of shit and people call her talentless and a phony because she performs as a character (not unlike Ziggy Stardust or Alice Cooper or KISS or “Sasha Fierce”) but she’s made a couple of really great records (“Ultraviolence” is among the best album I’ve heard in decades) and there’s nobody else out there doing what she does.
