R.I.P. Joe Cocker, Woodstock legend passes away at 70

The legendary Woodstock veteran Joe Cocker has unfortunately passed away on Monday at the age of 70. His agent Barry Marshall confirmed the news and revealed that Cocker died in his home in Colorado. The reason for his death has not yet been announced, but it was known that Cocker was battling Lung Cancer.

First gaining recognition for his 1968 cover of The Beatles song “With A Little Help From My Friends” Cocker became an important musical figure in the late 60’s. With 22 solo albums and a lengthy career filled with hits and collaborations with notable musicians like Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, Cocker is not leaving this world without leaving behind a solid legacy. RIP Joe Cocker.
