Former co-founding member of the iconic band Oasis, Noel Gallagher has revealed his thoughts on the split of Beady Eye and what his younger brother Liam Gallagher should strive for in the future. He said that his brother should record a solo album and “put his balls on the line”.

In a statement Noel posted on twitter he said that he believed that the members of Beady Eye were surprised by the bands split. In an interview with Q magazine he had this to say on the subject. “I’m very fucking sad about Beady Eye, because I know they really wanted to make it work, I wanted it to work for them. I was out with Gem Archer the other night. The vibe I’m getting is that it was a shock, although not completely surprising.”

Speaking about Liam’s next move, Noel said, “I’m amazed Liam has chucked it in, but he won’t stay out of the limelight for long. I think Liam should make a solo record and put his balls on the line, put his name up in lights and go for it.”

It is nice to see Noel being so supportive of his brother’s future endeavors, but fans have been riled up at the prospect of an Oasis reunion after Beady Eye split. While it is still not completely out of the picture, Noel’s support of his brother recording his very own solo album could put a damper on any reunion possibilities.
