This spring things are going to become insane as metal giants Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead and Judas Priest are reportedly touring together. The tour is being dubbed as the “Monsters Tour” and have confirmed one date in Brazil that follows the Monsters of Rock Festival. According to the company Hits Entretenimento, the acts will tour together in April, reported by Pollstar.
The first date of the Monsters Tour is April 30th at Porto Alegre’s Zequinha Stadium. No further dates have been announced, but it would not be too crazy to think that the bands would not make this into a full length tour. Osbourne has played on the same bills as Judas Priest and toured with Motorhead, so in a way it is surprising that this collaboration has not happened sooner.
Osbourne is currently working on new Black Sabbath material as well as a follow up to his last greatest hits solo album, Memoirs of a Madman. In 2013 Motorhead released their 21st album Aftershock and are currently promoting it on tour. Judas Priest released their 17th album titled, Redeemer Of Souls in July that has received a large amount of positive feedback. Stay tuned for more news regarding the Monsters Tour in the near future. Get pumped!
