Mumford & Sons announce headlining gig at Reading and Leeds Festival, possible tour in the works?

10410311_10153126407103793_2964018140668949791_nPopular UK folk rock band Mumford & Sons have just announced that they will be headlining this years Reading and Leeds Festival. Organizers confirmed that the band will make their UK live return on the Reading and Leeds Main Stage and will be their first time headlining the festival.

In addition to Mumford & Sons, Deadmau5, Bastille, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Wolf Alice, Years & Years, Hannah Wants, Jack Garratt and Pretty Vicious are also new to the bill, as too are Rebel Sound, the new project from Chase & Status and Rage, David Rodigan and Shy FX. They will be joining the already announced metal legends Metallica who will be headlining one of the three days of the event.

The return of one of folk rocks most popular bands is a promising sign that could perhaps lead to a tour announcement or even a new album. The band will also be playing the massive Bonnaroo Music Festival and could schedule more dates around the festival.
