Chris Cornell reveals more solo album details and maps out extensive tour

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has confirmed details of his first solo album in six years, Higher Truth. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, the follow-up to 2009’s critically-maligned Scream will arrive on September 18th.  

Cornell will support the album with a string of acoustic dates. As Rolling Stone reports, a dollar from each ticket sold will support the singer’s charity, the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation.
