Nothing can stop the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl returns and performs on a throne – Watch

performs onstage during the Foo Fighters 20th Anniversary Blowout at RFK Stadium on July 4, 2015 in Washington, DC.

There does not seem to be anything that can keep Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl down. The band returned to the stage on Saturday night (July 4th) for a 20th anniversary concert at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington DC.

This was the US band’s first show since being forced to cancel their UK stadium shows and Glastonbury headline appearance due to Dave Grohl’s recently broken leg. Grohl recieved the injury when he fell off the stage at a show in Gothenburg, Sweden during June, later finishing the show despite the pain.

Cue the Game Of Throne references, Grohl took to the stage in a giant throne, surrounded by guitars, lights and amps so he could perform while resting his injured leg. Fans will be in for a unique experience during the majority of the Foo Fighters US tour and will be introduced to a whole new kind of show.
