A three day music festival held in Mexico City, Vive Latino is back and is bringing in some serious international talent. Leading the bill is former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, frontman of the Las Vegas stadium rock band Brandon Flowers and jam band rockers Dave Matthews Band. The event is held on March 13th to the 15th.
Focusing primarily on local acts that reside in the country, Vive Latino festival has managed to become one of the most anticipated events in the country. Besides local heroes and talent the event has also managed to nab big name international artists like Interpol, NOFX, The Specials, Die Antwoord, Mastodon, Garbage and Apocalyptica. This diverse list of acts are what make the event a truly special one. Organizers have managed to successfully mix local band with notable international acts to make a unique festival that can stand up to other more popular festivals. Additional bands are expected to be announced in the future.
